I am a qualified counsellor and am passionate about helping people get the best from themselves and from their life. The length of this journey varies from person to person, and it can at times be very challenging for them.
I work in an integrative way, which means that I draw on different ways of working depending on what you need. My core practice is person centred counselling which is based around really exploring your thoughts and feelings to find out what is creating blockages for you and stopping you from living the life you want. This might be in relation to work, relationships, past experiences or it may not seem to be connected to anything - simply a feeling you carry with you.
Sometimes unhealthy patterns get in the way of living a positive and fulfilling life, or childhood experiences have a strong influence on how you are living today. Or it could be that things feel on top of you at the moment. Whatever the situation, I provide a supportive, confidential, non-judgemental and open environment for adults and teenagers to explore this. I also hold a current DBS certificate and have completed safeguarding training
I believe that talking though issues, however big or small they seem, can really help to bring clarity. There are no minimum number of sessions as this is led by you and I am happy to chat through your requirements to see if you feel I can help. Alternatively please email me and we can arrange a time to talk or meet.
